FAQs
Sending us audio for mixing? Here's a few tips to help get the best results.
Decide beforehand who will be editing, including take selection, etc.
Number your tracks sequentially, e.g. "01 Kick In".
Label your tracks by instrument, not person.
Be consistent in labelling across songs.
Be sure to eliminate any pops and clicks from crossfades.
Include DI'd dry tracks for any stringed instruments.
Make sure you consolidate all tracks to start at 00:00:00.
Export your tracks as 24-bit WAV audio files at either 44.1KHz or 48KHz.
Export tracks in mono (except perhaps keys instruments)
Don't forget to include midi files of song tempo maps, ideally with markers.
Make sure the tracks for each song are in separate project folders.
